Getting in the habit of being and doing things in ways that will grow your mind, body, and soul is part of the game.

#1 Consume inspirational/motivational books or podcasts to gain new prespectives
Taking in new material related to where you want to be in your life is a must. For example, if you have a goal to lose 20 pounds, you might want to read a book on developing healthy eating habits. Or maybe you want to become a world-renowned spiritual leader, maybe you could read a memoir of someone who successfully achieved this.
#2 Make journaling a part of your daily routine
Journaling can help you uplevel your life in so many ways. A journal can help you with things like:
- helping you be more present every day
- reducing stress
- increasing your focus
- upping your gratitude
- helping you be more creative
- strengthen your sense of self
- gain new perspectives
- healing the past
#3 Make time for rest
We live in a culture that is always on the go and oftentimes with strict deadlines. Sometimes just the thought of resting makes us feel like we are getting behind because we should be doing all the things that need to get done.
Resting is actually productive.
Allowing yourself time for rest is huge. Your brain is not designed to be productive non-stop. If you don’t take the time to recharge and recoup, this could lead to things like stress, major burnout, and even illness. Allowing yourself time to take a breather will actually supercharge your life because you will be showing up as a much more peaceful and happy version of yourself.
Resting doesn’t necessarily mean sleeping. You could do self-care power time, for as much time as you can, even 5-10 minutes can help.
Some ideas to reset your mind, body, and soul are:
- Taking a relaxing bath or doing an at-home spa day
- Walking or sitting in nature
- Unplugging from all electronics
- Listen to soothing music
- Doing yoga, stretching, or dancing
